Know your Neighbour, Love your 'hood!
Neighbourhoods are about getting to know who our neighbours are, so we can love our neighbours. At True North we have families all across Perth! Odds are there are people from True North in your neighbourhood, even just a couple streets away.
Neighborhoods are primarily connected through facebook groups, but designed for you to get to know the True North crew who are right in your backyard, (sometimes literally!). Because when you know someone, you can look after them…and they can look after you.

Questions about Neighbourhoods
They are Facebook Groups designed to connect people from True North Church who live in the same neighbourhoods to one another.
We believe the church is called to be a “fellowship,” a group of people connected to one another and committed to caring for one another. Often, we can end up living in the same neighbourhood as someone else from True North, and might not even know it! Neighbourhoods create an easy way to stay connected to one another so that we can better care for one another. When you join a Neighbohood group, you create a simple way to be able to communicate with and stay in touch with your church in your local area.
E-groups and connect groups are about connecting with a small group of people (usually around 8-12 or so) to get know one another well and share life together. All of us have a limited ability to connect at this level of relationship. Neighborhoods are about helping our church to connect with one another at a broader level, with up to 100 or so people who may live nearby to each other but not even know it. You’ll never have the same depth of connection with people in a neighborhood (which is more like a village) as you would in connect group. But often in life, it’s easiest to help the people who are right around us. The closer someone is in proximity, the easier it is to drop off a meal, collect someone’s mail, or any other number of small acts of kindness.
