Our Mission

Our mission is to foster sustainability within our community by empowering individuals to embrace environmentally-conscious practices. We believe that by promoting sustainable living, we can safeguard our natural resources, reduce our ecological footprint, and create a healthier, more resilient community for generations to come. Together, we strive to cultivate a culture of stewardship and responsibility towards our planet, ensuring a brighter, greener future for all.

Our Objectives

True North’s Sustainability Project has secured a grant of $24,149.57 from the WasteSorted Community Education Grants Program. We have also more recently secured a grant of $9988 through the Community Gardens Grants Program. Over the 12 month period, we will conduct community workshops and on-site demonstrations at True North Church in Mullaloo. Our initiative aims to enhance waste awareness, empower individuals to adopt low-waste practices, and foster a behavioural change within the community.

Our project encompasses a four-phase approach, which includes:

  • Waste Management
  • Establishment of a Specialized Community Recycling Hub
  • Reduction of Unnecessary Products
  • Developing a Community Garden

Join us in our endeavour to create a more sustainable future for our community.
